Land's End to John O Groats!

Regular Interski Classics client, Geoff Earl, enjoys the challenges of the ski slopes, but this summer, along with some of his family and friends (also keen Interskiers), he undertook a gruelling cycle ride from Land's End to John O'Groats. Proudly sporting Interski T-shirts, the group completed the 1025 mile ride (they detoured via Edwinstowe [Notts] and Howden [East Yorks] to touch base with home!) in 14 days.

"The ride was tougher than we had anticipated but we kept to schedule despite the wind, rain and hills. None of us were very keen on the uphill bits - chairlifts are a much better idea!".

"It was a relief to get to John O Groats and be greeted by friends and family to cheer us over the line. It was enjoyable in parts and painful in others".

All sponsorship monies (Geoff and daughter, Sophie, raised £3,500) will go to World Vision's 'Kids in Africa' campaign.
