Just imagine arriving at your hotel by
skidoo following a magical ride through
the woods. It doesn't get much more
romantic than that!
That's how guests at the beautiful,
stone-built 3* Maison de Neige will
begin their holiday in La Thuile.
Situated directly on red run number
7, doorstep skiing is the order of the
day, so this may not be the best hotel
for total beginners. That having been
said, the hotelier will provide a lift by
skidoo to the nearby chair for
beginners/cautious intermediates.
There is also a skidoo every hour down
to the village - simply call to be picked
up again later, or ski back down the red
run (small charge, payable locally).
14 beautiful rooms with all the facilities
you would expect of 3* accommodation
in a setting that's truly stunning. The hotel's sauna and steam room are included in
the price, but treatments cost extra (payable locally). Snow shoes are also available
for hire.
The views from the restaurant will take your breath away at any time of the day,
especially in the evening when the lights of La Thuile twinkle softly below. Delight in
the delicious regional and international cuisine, then work out in the fitness centre,
complete with sauna, gym and jacuzzi.
nb: Packages to the Maison de Neige do not
include an après-ski programme. A perfect
romantic retreat for those who want to get away from it all and enjoy the beauty and
peace of the mountain environment.
