Snowsport School
The Interski Snowsport School is the biggest and the best in the Alps. Interski uses only minimum BASI Level 2 (or national equivalent) instructors, all of whom are English-speaking. With safety and enjoyment a priority, our instructors will create the perfect environment to encourage your students to develop their confidence and skill level. We include the following:
- 4 hours instruction per day
- 6 day course
- An hour's lunchtime supervision
Lesson times normally run from 10am to 3pm, Monday through to Saturday. Throughout the week, the students will be assessed continually and at the end of the week will be presented with an appropriate Interski Star Test Award, with badge and certificate to validate their achievement. Class sizes are normally 10 and smaller groups may be mixed with students of the same ability from another school.
Snowboarding and snowblading courses are available at a small supplement (£40 per week and £10 per week respectively) - but book early to avoid disappointment. GCSE & AS/A2 PE? No problem - our experienced instructors are happy to video your students for you to assess. Simply bring along the paperwork, a mini DV tape, an IBG memory card and a copy of the syllabus.
Remember our instructors will be on the look out for gifted youngsters (normally aged 16 - 18 years ) to take part in the Interski Scholarship Scheme!
Please note, we cater for all abilities and most age groups, but regret that we are unable to accept children under the age of 7 into our Snowsport School. If you have young children in your party who will require instruction, local ski schools are available. We are happy to provide contact numbers for you to be able to make the necessary arrangements. We do not recommend that infants under the age of 2 are taken on school/college snowsport courses.
Important - students with special tuition requirements
Please note that, in the absence of notification to the contrary, we assume that all participants are able to be accommodated in tuition groups of up to 12 students and that they will be able to make progress in line with that expected of the average novice skier with no special tuition requirements. Interski is able to make provision for those students who may not fulfil this criteria if we are informed prior to your arrival. Please notify us as soon as possible of any students to whom you feel this may apply, so that we may discuss their requirements, the various tuition options available and the additional costs involved. Please note that if we are not given sufficient notice of special requirements prior to the trip, supplementary costs will still apply where more personal tuition is deemed appropriate but that, in some circumstances, it may be too late to make provision for this.
