A highlight of any trip to the Aosta Valley
simply has to be skiing the world famous
Vallée Blanche.
Dropping from the Aiguille
du Midi at 3880m to Chamonix at 1100m, the
Vallee Blanche is something
quite unique -
2780 vertical metres of skiing, the longest
run in Europe at 22km. The scenery?
Amazing! Towering 4,000m peaks, ancient
glaciers and a valley that's whiter than
white. Last
winter, over 50 Interskiers
(intermediate and above) joined local guides
for the experience of a
lifetime. Once again,
for season 2007/2008, we'll be organising
weekly trips (weather permitting)
at a small
supplement. Your Classics Co-ordinator will
be pleased to provide details upon arrival in
resort. Go on - give yourself a real thrill!
You will need to be a confident intermediate skier to take part in the Vallée Blanche.
If
you are in
any doubt about your ability, our qualified snowsport instructors will be
pleased to advise.
